Member groups

As a member of IChemE you have access to the best resources for Chemical, Biochemical and Process engineering careers information – your fellow members! Attend local member group events to make contacts with members across the globe. Some will be in the same position as you and can share experiences, some will have started a new job and can offer tips and some will be in senior positions, able to explain what they look for in a candidate. You may even turn up to your job interview to find your interviewer is the engineer you chatted with at an event last month!

Special Interest groups

If you are interested in a particular sector of chemical engineering why not get involved with the appropriate Special Interest Groups. Meet other engineers working in your field and use these contacts to find out which companies are hoping to expand, who to send your CV to and how to get into your chosen industry.
