Energy Saving Opportunity Scheme

Benefits of becoming an ESOS LEA

Due to the recent ESOS legislation there is an urgent need for suitably qualified individuals to take on the responsibility of Lead Energy Assessors. Many organisations who need to comply with the new regulations will be recruiting to fill internal vacancies with others choosing to hire in consultants to oversee the audits.

At present, there are no suitably qualified Chartered Chemical Engineers with this qualification and consequently becoming qualified will put candidates ahead of the competition.

Further benefits include:

  • opportunity to head up the first tranche of ESOS audits
  • being part of a community which influences Energy Saving policy into the future practical experience of running ESOS audits
  • opportunity to improve the organisation's environmental performance
