Description: The presentation will be focussed on providing considerations to be taken into account during the engineering design process in order to avoid troubleshooting issues during commissioning. Case studies will be presented to illustrate how comparatively well known and simple issues can go badly wrong, including the development of “line lists” and thermosiphon reboiler relocation. The examples will demonstrate that “simple looking tasks are generally not so simple to do”.
