We are delighted to invite you to this technical presentation by Colin Heathfield of Cole-Parmer Ltd.

In this presentation, the fundamentals of the most common pump technologies such as centrifugal and progressive cavity, among others, will be covered.

Colin Heathfield has over 25 years of pumping and fluid handling engineering experience. Colin is currently the Technical Sales Manager for Cole-Parmer, specialising in pump selection and applications requiring scale-up, from laboratory to pilot plant and through to production. During his career he has been employed by several pump manufacturers covering technologies including centrifugal, peristaltic and gear. In his current role, he is involved with many aspects of project engineering and design of pump skid solutions, including the integration of other equipment.  Colin works with customers in a variety of industries, including Water, Food, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear and Cosmetics in the UK, Europe and globally.

The MK Members Group is also organising a second session on Pump Technologies later this year focusing on the nature of the fluids, materials of construction and case studies. Details will be sent in the following months.
