As the supernumerary of the ChemEngDayUK 2017 on 27-28 March 2017, the University of Birmingham will also hold this one-day event on 29th March 2017 on behalf of IChemE Particle Technology Special Interest Group (PTSIG), to bring together early career researchers to discuss the challenges and opportunities for Particle Technology. PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, early career academics, and industrial partners are invited to attend this event. Regardless of what stage you are in your PhD studies or Postdoc research, this event will be an excellent platform for you to disseminate work and network with your peers and colleagues in a formal and friendly setting and network.

A selection of prizes is on offer for both talks (Young Research Award) and posters. In addition, we will also invite 3 plenary lectures from early-career scientists/engineers who will share their complementary paths to success in academia and industry. Above and beyond research talks and posters, the meeting aims to provide a focused platform for PhDs/postdocs thinking ‘What's next for my career?’.
