AVERT Issue 5 Published - Special on Shale Gas

Welcome to 2012 and a new electronic edition of AVERT!

You will all be aware that 2012 is a year of change for IChemE and the Subject Groups. Of course, to kick things off, we have a name change. From now on we are known as the 'Environment Special Interest Group' (ESIG) and this is consistent with the changes to all other Subject Groups that Council has confirmed. Secondly, you should all be aware that if you nominated ESIG as your first choice when renewing your membership of IChemE for 2012 then the subscription is now free. For more than one Special Interest Group or if you are a non-member of IChemE, then there is a small charge. Again, this is in line with the changes that Council have implemented for 2012.
