Special Interest Groups

Technical networks for knowledge exchange – IChemE's 19 special interest groups cater for a wide range of industry sectors and professional interests.

From 2012, IChemE members can join one special interest group free of charge, as part of their membership package.

Find out why we're making this change, and read more about what's on offer, in tce's special interest group supplement 2011.

Special interest group membership is also open to non members of IChemE.

As IChemE grows internationally, special interest groups are rising to the challenge of delivering value to members worldwide. Volunteers are essential to this process – IChemE is its members – and there are many opportunities for individuals who'd like to get involved locally, and gain the respect that comes with playing an active role in IChemE.
