IChemE Awards entry deadline extended

The IChemE Awards entry deadline has been extended to Friday 26 July. The Awards are free to enter and open to both IChemE members and non-members.

The deadline extension also applies to the Singapore, Malaysia and North America Awards programmes.

The global awards, held in association with Saudi Aramco, are acknowledged as the most prestigious chemical engineering awards in the world and are intended to recognise and reward chemical engineering excellence for both team and individual achievements. Global Award categories for teams are:-

• The Bioprocessing Award – sponsored by Newcastle University
• The Chemical Engineering Project of the year Award – sponsored by Sellafield Ltd
• The Core Chemical Engineering Award – sponsored by Simon Carves
• The Education and Training Award – sponsored by Costain
• The Energy Award – sponsored by PM Group 
• The Food and Drink Award  – sponsored by University of Birmingham
• The Health and Safety Award – sponsored by Shell
• The Innovative Product of the Year Award – sponsored by AstraZeneca
• The Nuclear Innovation Award – sponsored by Atkins
• The Sustainable Technology Award – sponsored by ABB
• The Water Management and Supply Award - – sponsored by Saudi Aramco


Individual Award categories are:-

• The Innovator of the Year – sponsored by NES Global Talent
• The Young Chemical Engineer of the Year – sponsored by GlaxoSmithKline

The most outstanding entry across all categories will receive the 2013 Award for Outstanding Achievement in Chemical and Process Engineering Award - sponsored by BP.
