Strong support from industry for the IChemE Awards 2016
Industry has given their major backing to the IChemE Awards 2016, which celebrate excellence and achievement in the chemical, biochemical and process industries.
Sixteen sponsors and supporters are already supporting the Awards, which attracted over 500 entries worldwide in 2015.
This year’s sponsors include ABB, AstraZeneca, BCECA, Bouygues Energies and Services, Costain, ExxonMobil, GSK, Jacobs, NES Global Talent, Otto Simon, PM Group, Reliance Industries, Rolls-Royce, Shell, Shell Eastern Petroleum, and Simon Carves Engineering.
Over thirty1 IChemE Awards will be presented at three events to be held in Singapore (21 October 2016), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (24 October 2016) and Manchester, UK, which will host the IChemE Global Awards on 3 November 2016.
Two new global categories are being introduced for 2016, including the Team of the Year Award and Biotechnology Award.
Last year’s winners included Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Lehigh Technologies, University of Liverpool, Sellafield Ltd, Ohio State University, Costain, Pfizer, Cork Institute of Technology, Johnson Matthey, Cardiff University, Senscient Ltd, GexCon, Suncor Energy, Laurentian University, Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations, Novvi, Petronas, National University of Singapore and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

The closing date for entries for the IChemE Singapore Awards and IChemE Malaysia Awards is 30 May 2016. Entries for the IChemE Global Awards must be submitted by 24 June 2016.
