In order to better protect society IChemE introduced the Professional Process Safety Engineer registration which provides public recognition to peer-reviewed practitioners working within process safety.

This global, professional registration specifically recognises those with responsibility for process safety.

Registration is positioned at the same professional level as Chartered Engineer and Professional Engineer.
