Registration revalidation requirements
The Chartered Chemical Engineer qualification is recognised internationally as a valued benchmark of professional competence.
From 2017, IChemE (in line with Engineering Council requirements) will be checking a random sample of Chartered Members and Fellows’ CPD records annually.
Internationally an increasing number of countries require evidence of CPD in order for locally practising engineers to achieve and maintain registration with local regulatory authorities. Such authorities include for example the State of Queensland Australia, Malaysia and others.
