Overview

Recent and historical incidents have highlighted the importance of having a clear understanding of the principles of process safety management throughout an organisation. This course, developed for those who are not in a process safety line management position but whose activities influence the process safety performance of their organisation. This can include staff engaged in corporate, R&D, commercial, HR and IT activities.

This course will provide a broad understanding of the tools and problem-solving techniques used in process safety.

Course presenter

Andrew Hudson, MIChemE, Hudson Consultants

Andrew is Chartered chemical engineer with chemical plant/production management background. He has specialised in the last 20 years in safety and environmental management.

Andrew acquired a wide range of experience in industry sectors of oil refinery, fibre manufacture and inorganic chemical production and I have held positions in engineering, technical and management functions. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a record of achievement at each stage. He has a strong practical background in both the design and application of process safety management systems in a variety of industries, with his skills predominantly lie in providing practical solutions to SHE related issues.
