Announcement - First Webinar of ESIGs Air Quality Series

“A History of Air Pollution and Health in the UK”

John Drabble will be presenting the first in a series of webinars on “Air Quality” on the topic of “A History of Air Pollution and Health in the UK

Some of the aspects the presentation will cover will be: Basic air quality standard setting, human health effects, early monitoring techniques, smog and the Clean Air Acts, smoke and SO2 monitoring, bronchitis rates, newer real time monitoring, the UK national monitoring network, the EPAQS reports, population health and ambient air quality, the AQ management regime, an update on fine particles and health impacts.

The webinar will be 15th November 2012 at 9am (GMT / UTC) lasting approximately 45 minutes with 15 minutes for a question and answer session.

The webinar will be free but you will have to register to take part.  Registration details will be included when they are available
