More members turning to Knovel

20th April 2012

Use of IChemE’s Knovel library rose in March 2012 by 23% compared to the same period in 2011.

The Knovel library is an online resource containing over 300 books and technical references, including technical information, and analytical and search tools. Some of the most popular downloads include volumes of Coulson and Richardson's Chemical Engineering, Loss Prevention in the Process Industries, Hawley's Condensed Chemical Dictionary and Ludwig's Applied Process Design for Chemical Petrochemical Plants.

'Knovel is seen as an valuable member benefit, particularly for those in remote locations. Our promotion has driven a surge in usage and builds stronger links with IChemE's global membership,' said IChemE policy director Andrew Furlong.
