Record numbers attend chemical engineering webinars

31st January 2013

More than 3000 delegates from 70 countries attended IChemE webinars last year, and the Institution has just published its February webinar line-up.

IChemE staged more than 40 webinars last year and Special Interest Group members now have free access to archives of their group's past presentations.

IChemE head of communications, training and events Matt Stalker says that online events are here to stay: 'Webinars will never replicate the experience of attending a live event or conference but we have an international audience and members all over the world. We are committed to making as much of our content available online as possible.'

2013 webinar topics include microscale bioprocessing, acid mines drainage and decision analytics within BP.

IChemE welcomes suggestions for future webinar topics and speakers and members can find out how to access free SIG webinar and archives.
