The centenary project, IChemE100, has set up five different member-led working parties which report into a the IChemE100 Steering Committee. We want to highlight the important contribution that chemical engineers have made, and will make, to society in the past, present and future, in order to appropriately celebrate our centenary in 2022.
Three of the working parties are focusing on developing content (what we are going to say). There is a working party representing the past, the present, and the future of chemical engineering. There is also be a working party for identifying services (how we are going to say it) and a working party for developing platforms (where we are going to say it) plus exploring fundraising opportunities.
