IChemE has four different accreditation activities:
IChemE degree accreditation provides benchmarking of academic programmes against high, internationally recognised standards. Accredited degrees and diplomas help provide graduates with a pathway to qualification as a Chartered Chemical Engineer.
Accredited company training schemes (ACTS)
IChemE accredited company training schemes (ACTS) are globally recognised, peer-reviewed initial professional development programmes. They provide assurance that the training delivered by an organisation will equip a graduate trainee with the skills and competencies required to become a Chartered Chemical Engineer.
IChemE's corporate partner scheme recognises and rewards companies that demonstrate a sustained commitment to the process industries. It has a three-tiered structure (Gold, Silver and Bronze) and includes an independent validation of a company’s commitment to career development as an employer.
Accredited training courses
IChemE’s knowledge of professional standards, close involvement with industry, education and regulators, and our own expertise as a leading global training provider, means we are uniquely positioned to independently assess and accredit training courses and professional development programmes across the world.
