Following the tragic fire at Grenfell Tower, London in June 2017, Dame Judith conducted an independent review for the UK Government into building regulations and fire safety related to high-rise buildings. She will reflect on her personal journey in the major hazards sector, and examine how the built environment sector might benefit from the lessons learned in our industry.

He will share insights from an insurance industry perspective on turning good practice into common practice, why it might be that industry is not always learning from incidents and what might be done about this.

Peter is the Executive Director of the Tank Storage Association, representing the interests of over 50 companies who operate more than 300 terminals in the UK or provide equipment and services to the sector. His presentation will explore the role of leadership in managing major hazards.
