Description: The Annual General Meeting of the Aberdeen Members' Group of the IChemE will take place on Tuesday, 24th January 2012 at 6pm (for 6:30) at the Fraser Noble Building, University of Aberdeen (see link below for directions). On conclusion of the formal business of the AGM, Jim Cowie, VP Wells for BP North Sea, will present the results of the BP investigation into the incident that happened on the Deepwater Horizon drilling rig in 2010 in the Gulf of Mexico.

Description: There is an increasing emphasis on the importance of managing Human Factors to achieve improved safety and business performance in the oil and gas industry. IChemE's Aberdeen Members Group will hold its annual half-day technical seminar at the University of Aberdeen from 12:00-17:00 on 13 September 2012 on the subject of Human Factors.
