Book Event

This event is joint with IChemE Aberdeen Members Group the Oil and Natural Gas Special Interest Group (SONG) and the Heat Transfer Society

As a process or design engineer it is essential to know about the theory behind the heat transfer and how to design the best possible system for maximising the heat transfer.

With this presentation Shiva will refresh your knowledge of the laws of physics which allows the driving energy in the system to flow until equilibrium is reached. Most importantly, we need to know which elements need to be considered at the design stage for any heat exchanger. Shiva will also explain the calculation methods and the theory behind each element of heat transfer.

Date: 25 September 2014

Time: 18:30 presentation

A buffet will be provided from 18:00 and is kindly sponsored by Alfa Laval

Location:
School of Engineering, Fraser Noble Building, Kings College, University of Aberdeen, Aberdeen, AB24 3UE.

Cost: Free of charge, open to all
