Description: This annual research event aims to promote interactions within the UK Fluid Mixing Community.

This unique one-day meeting will bring together young researchers from across the different disciplines of Fluid Mixing to present their work to their peers, senior academics and industrialists. Participants will be able to discover the diverse and exciting work currently under way in the UK and there will also be several opportunities for networking and discussion throughout the day.

A panel of judges, from both industry and academia will evaluate the presentations.

There will also be an opportunity for attendees to tour the BHR Group laboratories in the afternoon.

Description: This one day event will bring together researchers and practitioners who are interested in the interdependency of mixing and formulated products. Industrial and academic presentations will be given illustrating modelling and practical applications of mixing to formulated products.

Description: This one-day event, organised by IChemE’s Fluid Mixing Subject Group, aims to present and highlight state of the art developments on the numerical simulation of fluid mixing processes. Results with DNS, LES or RANS approaches, many of which are obtained using massively parallel computers, will be presented. Applications include: flows in static or agitated mixers, single or multiphase flows and inert or reacting turbulent flows and processes.
