Description: The webinar will focus on the advantages and disadvantages of using peer assessment (PA) as a formative and summative tool. The first part of the webinar will address the peer marking of individual homework tasks while the second part will discuss the use of PA tools to split laboratory group report grades into individual weighted grades.

Description: SigmaPipe is a free, easy-to-use Windows software package for all engineers. It deals with pipe flow by combining conventional (plug flow) engineering calculations with 3D object programming in a video game-like environment. It allows time-poor engineers to solve problems such as orifice critical flow, valve characteristics and flow achievable with a given pump-line combination almost effortlessly. This webinar will provide a general introduction and software demonstration for those who would like to know more.
