From 2017 onwards, Singapore companies who are classified as Major Hazard Installations (MHI) will be required to submit Safety Case to the Major Hazard Department as part of licence to operate policy. As such, effective Process Safety Management (PSM) in your company plays a critical part in the Safety Case write-up. A PSM system contains and determines a company's management of process safety information, process hazard analysis and ALARP principles, asset management and its strategies, process safety practices etc. Also, established MHIs may see the differences or the need to integrate existing OSH management system with PSM system. This evening talk will share on an overview of PSM, OSH and PSM differences, challenges from implementations and integrations, pitfalls to watch out for and required resources.
