Floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) is entering a new era with 3 liquefaction projects now sanctioned and 9 floating storage and regasification units (FSRUs) in operation and more under development. This one day workshop will comprise 6 modules and will focus on floating liquefaction but include one module on FSRUs.

Workshop leaders

David has worked in the LNG industry for 16 years at BG Group, Advantica and now GL Noble Denton. He has worked on LNG liquefaction projects in west and north Africa as well as a recent project advising on a FLNG project offshore of Australia. David subsequently acted as the LNG technology manager for the FLNG pre-FEED project. He has also worked across the LNG chain including many LNG import projects both on and offshore.
