David Brankling, of Oilfield Chemical Technology Ltd will give a presentation focusing upon general issues related to crude production from the well through to the process system, creation and avoidance of production problems and the evaluation and application of chemicals that may be used to reduce production and process difficulties.

David Brankling is a Chartered Chemist and a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry. He is managing director of Oilfield Chemical Technology Ltd, a company that he started in 1988, after 10 years working for drilling fluid and production chemical companies in research, engineering and management roles. OCTL is an independent consultancy specializing in the interpretation and prediction of reservoir fluid behaviour, testing and recommendation of drilling fluids, completion fluids, production and process chemicals, as well as the provision of consultancy services.
