Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is playing an increasingly important role in the world’s energy mix, with more countries turning to natural gas as a cleaner energy source.

The presenter

Stephen O’Reilly is a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. He is Excelerate Energy’s Business Development Director for Europe, Middle East and India. Excelerate Energy is a developer of floating LNG importation infrastructure and a provider of LNG storage and regasification services. Stephen is responsible for the origination, development, negotiation and delivery of Excelerate’s floating LNG importation projects. Previously Stephen worked at National Grid where he was part of the project team responsible for the development and delivery of Phases 2 and 3 of the Grain LNG import terminal in the UK.
