This presentation will provide a summary of Jacobs’ work with Zero Waste Scotland in the offshore decommissioning supply chain. In summary, the aim of the project was to develop and implement circular economy business models that will effect real change and real carbon benefits in the way the Oil & Gas industry approaches and delivers decommissioning projects.

Zero Waste Scotland (ZWS) is funded by the Scottish Government to support delivery of its Zero Waste Plan & other low carbon resource efficiency policy priorities. It is a facilitator and enabler of change: their goal is to help Scotland eliminate waste. To achieve this goal ZWS pursues activities aligned to two complementary approaches, Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency. ZWS works closely with a number of key industry partners such as Decom North Sea to deliver key industry-specific objectives in Scotland and across the UK.
