Paul has an MEng in Chemical Engineering from Strathclyde University.  Paul joined ConocoPhillips in Aberdeen in October 2006 following graduation. He has more than 17 years’ experience in the upstream oil & gas industry, having worked for ConocoPhillips, Chrysaor and Harbour Energy.  Paul is a Chartered Chemical Engineer. Paul joined the Aberdeen Members Group of the IChemE as Treasurer in early 2023.

David is a senior reservoir engineer with more than 20 years of varied experience with an operator (BP) and subsequently an energy service company (LR Senergy).

Patricia gained a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Aberdeen with an MSc in Oil and Gas Engineering. Patricia has over 7 years of experience in the oil and gas industry (Wood Group and ADIL).

Peter Buchan

Peter is a disciplined, enthusiastic chemical engineering professional with 25+ years of experience in a variety of highly hazardous industries, including 18 years of oil and gas operator experience (onshore and offshore). Peter studied Chemical Engineering at Strathclyde University before achieving further qualifications including MSc and MBA (with specialism in Leadership Studies).
