On 11 November 2020, Matt Luscombe a graduate in chemical and process engineering at the University of Canterbury, and head of Hiringa's projects and operations, gave an overview of the Hiringa/Ballance Kapuni project, and the national heavy vehicle hydrogen refuelling network. He discussed the renewable hydrogen production and applications for New Zealand. The event took place online and was well attended.
