The US Gulf Coast Members Group are delighted to announce their upcoming AGM, they will be highlighting their activity within 2019 and encourage all US Gulf Coast members to attend and input their ideas for the group. 

After the event, attendee's will have the opportunity to network and socialise at Lucky's pub nearby.

Guest presenters

Mark Leppington, Engineering Manager for Shell Global Solutions

Mark is from the UK, graduating with a degree in Chemical Engineering from Nottingham University. He has over 30 years project experience in the oil, gas and chemical industry, working in numerous international locations, such as; India, Venezuela, Qatar, Trinidad & Tobago and the USA. His experience covers both major onshore and offshore greenfield and brownfield projects, working both with Operator and Contractor organisations. 

Trish Kerrin, Director of IChemE's Safety Centre 

After graduating with honours in Mechanical Engineering, Trish spent several years working in project management and operational and safety roles for the oil, gas and chemical industries. Trish has recently represented industry on many government committees related to process safety, and sits on the board of the Australian National Offshore Petroleum Safety an Environmental Management Authority (NOPSEMA) and the Mary Kay O'Connor Process Safety Centre (MKOPSC) steering committee. 

Trish is a Chartered Engineer, registered Professional Process Safety Engineer, Fellow of IChemE and Fellow of Engineers Australia. She also holds a diploma in OHS and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). In 2015 Trish received the John A. Brodie Medal from Engineers Australia for her paper on Process Safety Competency at the Asia Pacific Congress of Chemical Engineering and in 2018 received the Trevor Kletz Merit Award from the MKOPSC for her work in process safety internationally.
