Ian Kemble, ABB Consulting

Ian is a senior safety consultant with ABB Limited, with over 35 years of experience in industrial automation and control engineering, delivering solutions and services to a wide range of industries including oil and gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, manufacturing, metals, mining, government establishments and power and utilities, with much of this work completed in accordance with international regulatory standards. He leads ABB’s offering in alarm management consultancy services in line with IEC 62682 and EEMUA 191 into the oil and gas, process chemical, power generation and pharmaceutical sectors across the definition, design, operation, and improvement phases of the alarm management life cycle.

He designs and delivers ABB Consulting’s training courses and seminars on the practical implications for end users in maintaining compliance with IEC 62682.

Ian has worked at every stage of the project life cycle and has many years of practical experience in design, build, installation, testing, operation and maintenance of industrial control, information and safety systems.
