You are invited to attend the Aberdeen Members Group virtual annual meeting. We encourage all members to attend, particularly those who wish to support our activities or have questions that you would like to put directly to the committee.

Committee vacancies

We are seeking nominations for the Chair, Secretary and Treasurer roles and nominations are now open for these positions. We request that all those submitting nominations attend the annual meeting.

Please note that all committee members must be a current member of IChemE, and for the positions of Chair and Treasurer must also be a current Chartered Chemical Engineer at Member or Fellow grade, or in rare cases actively working towards Chartered Membership.

Nominations will close Friday 17 February 2023 at 17:00 GMT.

Speaker

Donald Macfarlane, Specialist in Mechanical, pressure systems, FEA

Multi-skilled mechanical engineer of 25+ years' experience, working Mechanical, Structural, Marine, Subsea and Pressure Systems. Technical authority level experience gained through working with operating oil and gas assets and new developments, both offshore and onshore. Donald has good problem solving, analytical and communication skills. Donald's experience has been gained through working in Industrial, Academic & Research environments, an experienced Principal Engineer and previous university lecturer.
