Overview

Serica Energy and GDi have worked together to build a ‘Digital Twin’ of the Bruce platform facilities, three platforms in the UK Northern North Sea connected by two bridges that receive, process and export Bruce, Keith and Rhum oil and gas. The Bruce Digital Twin provides a digital representation of the Bruce facility, through a point cloud laser survey and high density images that can be integrated with a 3D model . The presentation materials and demonstration will share how the digital twin is enabling an increase in remote working methods, challenging existing working practices and supporting efficiency improvements.

It is aimed a graduates and chemical engineers who are currently associated with Energy transition and those students and professionals who wish to learn more about the sector.
