Overview

Speakers

Chris Flower, Digital Team Manager, ABB

Chris is responsible for quality and delivery of projects to clients. He specialises in relief system design and critical assessment of existing and proposed design. An experienced process engineer with design and operations experience across the oil and gas, chemicals, pharmaceutical and power sectors.

John Whitaker, Senior Process Engineer, ABB

John is a Chartered Chemical Engineer and member of the IChemE. An engineering professional with extensive experience in process engineering and project execution in the energy and chemicals Industries. Currently working as a senior process engineer in a consultancy role with ABB, and with a particular expertise in pressure relief. Previous experience as a project technologist at a major UK petrochemical facility, and as process engineer for various EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) companies in both the upstream and downstream energy sectors.

Alex Jones, Process Engineering Graduate, ABB

Alex is a chemical engineering graduate from the university of Leeds and associate member of the IChemE. University work placement experience in the consumer goods industry, working within R&D process development. Currently on the ABB Process Engineering Graduate Program and working within the process engineering/process safety consultancy team.
