Chris Bone is the Head of Operations for Alpha Remediation at Sellafield Ltd. He joined Sellafield as a graduate chemical engineer from Loughborough University in 2005, and has spent his career predominantly in frontline operations at the Sellafield site.

He has experience of highly active evaporators from time spent in the highly active liquor evaporation and storage facility. He was the operations manager in the Thorp Head End Facility prior to the completion of reprocessing. Chris is the senior coordinator for the ACTS at Sellafield and spends his time outside of work running and cycling around Cumbria.
