Overview

The All Ireland Members Group dinner in Cork offers an ideal opportunity to meet up with colleagues and friends, provides an opportunity to recognise and reward staff and to network across the industry, or perhaps entertain key clients.

The Maryborough Hotel is easily reachable by public transport, just ten minutes from Cork airport. Car parking is available at the hotel for dinner guests.

The dress code for this event is informal.

Mark White, Europe Engineering Director, DPS Group Global

Mark began his career in the mid-1990s with Norton Pharmaceuticals as a Development Engineer working on aerosolised medication products. He next worked with National Environmental Sciences in developing IPC licence applications for pharmaceutical companies (following the then-recent establishment of the EPA), after which he moved to DPS Engineering in 1997. Following a brief departure to set up BioPharma Engineering in 2006, Mark returned to play a leading role in DPS Group, being heavily involved in significant project delivery for international clients, including those with operations in Cork. As DPS’s Engineering Director – Europe, Mark is responsible for engineering capability, quality, and continuous improvement. He continues to support clients worldwide in their project requirements.

Mark has been a member of the IChemE since college, becoming a chartered member in 2012 and elected to the grade of Fellow in 2018. Mark was a member of the IChemE Covid response team set up in 2020. As a strong believer in the positive influence of the IChemE both within the industry and society, Mark promotes IChemE engagement within DPS, and ensures that DPS remain involved in IChemE activities.
