If so, all these questions and more will be addressed and answered for you at this event. A member of the IChemE will provide the guidelines of the fellowship process and IChemE fellows will also share their experiences and reasons as to why they achieved fellowship status.

Between the period of 2015-2019 we have seen that 8% of IChemE Fellow's are female. We encourage all members, but especially our female Chartered members to join this event!

Guest speakers 

Dame Judith Hackitt, DBE, FREng, FIChemE, FCGI 

Dame Hackitt is a qualified chemical engineer, former president of IChemE (2^nd female president), and former chair of HSE. She studied at Imperial College in London and worked in chemicals manufacturing industries for 25 years, gaining extensive experience through global management roles in both the UK and overseas. She is currently the Chair of the Independent Review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety, which was commissioned by the Government following the Grenfell Tower fire.

Mike Power, FIChemE

Mike has over 40 years’ experience in design, start-up and operation of both Oil & Gas and Petrochemical plants around the world. This has included troubleshooting and de-bottlenecking. Author of over 20 patents concerning plant design, being internationally awarded for innovation. Awarded the Honorary title of Freeperson of the University of Nottingham as an alumnus of distinction. Also designed and presented courses in Separation Design and invited to give keynote Presentations for process design conferences globally.
