A two-hour skills workshop, fusing creativity and process, developing fundamental human skills of critical thinking, lateral thinking and problem solving, then applying the skills to chemical engineering roles.

This training is suitable for all. It is particularly relevant for experienced and senior engineers to challenge convention outside of your comfort zone. For new engineers it is a great way to create a solid foundation of fundamental skills that are transferable to all aspects of your future career.

Agenda

  • 17:30 – Welcome and refreshments
  • 18:00 – Training session commences
  • 20:00 – End of training session

There will be a welcome with sandwiches and refreshments for the first 30 minutes, along with an opportunity to network with fellow chemical engineers.

The training is an interactive group activity, completing a creative task, in a very different way. The last 20 minutes will summarise the skills learnt and challenge the individuals through open discussion on how to apply them to their chemical engineering roles in order to further their professional development.
