Presenter 

Steven Gasser, Associate Director for IChemE

Steven started his career in the manufacturing sector in 1987 and became a technical apprentice, he gained experience in all aspects of the business and occupied the role of technical sales manager. Moving forward, Steven worked in the metal finishing industry before joining IMechE in 2001 as a business development manager, becoming senior business development manager in 2010. He has extensive experience of working with industry, academia and played a significant role in establishing the IMechE’s presence in India. Steven then left IMechE in 2012 and joined the MTC with responsibility for the professional development of the Engineering community. In 2016, Steven left the MTC and joined NuGen, a nuclear new build project with responsibility for technical and operational training.

Joining IChemE in January 2019, he plans to use the skills he has developed over his career to help benefit Chemical Engineers through IChemE.
