Overview

Are you searching for your perfect career and not sure which direction to take? Three speakers from Recycling Technologies, The Environmental Agency and Atkins Consultants explain what chemical engineers do in their organisations and how your career could develop. There will be three short, interesting presentations and plenty of time to ask questions after each one. 

This webinar is mainly aimed at undergraduates or those engineers considering a career change.  Anyone is welcome to attend.

Speakers

Graham Tucker (Chief Engineer), Atkins

Graham is a Fellow of IChemE with 35 years experience covering process development and project delivery. Sectors include water, chemicals, paper, energy from waste and nuclear new build and decommissioning. Graham leads a team of 50 process engineers based out of Atkins’ Bristol office.

Suchismita Bhattacharya (Process Development Engineer), Recycling Technologies

Suchismita is leading process development at Recycling Technologies. She is involved in transferring knowledge between R&D and Engineering departments and actively manages research and grant projects.

Ed Barnard (Senior Advisor) Environmental Agency

Ed is a senior advisor at the Environment Agency, working with environmental permits to control emissions from industrial sites and manage risk of harm to the environment. As a chemical engineering graduate from University of Bath, he worked in pharmaceutical manufacturing, before moving into environmental regulation.
