Overview

The tour will include a look around the Visitor Centre at Cannington Court followed by a site tour of Hinkley Point C (HPC). HPC is currently in the construction phase building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in Britain providing zero-carbon electricity for around six million homes.

Please note that whilst the visit is free, visitors are expected to make their own travel arrangements to HPC Cannington Park and Ride at their own expense.

There is a limit to the amount of people allowed on the site at any one time, so we advise early registration to ensure your place.

Essential information

Ahead of your visit, please take a few moments to familiarise yourself with these important requirements: 

• On the day of your visit ALL visitors (aged 18 years and above) are required to produce valid photographic ID, either a current Passport or photo Driving Licence card.  If either of the above forms of ID are not available, access to HPC Site will be denied.
• Sensible footwear must be worn on site.
• Bags and personal belongings must be kept to a minimum.
• It is not permitted to use cameras and mobile telephones on HPC Site. Other prohibited items include radio transmitters, animals, weapons, knives, explosives of any kind, personal radios, and music players.
