Overview 

Virtual quiz to replace to annual face to face quiz (usually held at Tennisworld Marton, Middlesbrough) event held for past 24 years. Later than planned, please find details for the annual Teesside IChemE quiz, which will be held online for the first time. Adrian Northey will be your quizmaster for the evening.

Adrian is the Regulatory manager for Lucite International UK Ltd, he has hosted the annual quiz for the past 24 years.

Software 

The quiz will be delivered through Zoom, please register below and we will send you the joining instructions 2 hours prior to the event. 

Format

Total of 40 questions (20 before the break, and 20 after the break,) covering general knowledge, entertainment, history, geography, science, sport and a surprise round!

The actual quiz format and questions will be delivered through the on-line quiz software Kahoot! and the link to Kahoot! will be given on the night. Please note to join Kahoot! you will need a smart phone or tablet.

There will be a prize for the overall winner - Amazon Voucher and for the lowest score a novelty Wooden Spoon prize!

19:00—21:00 GMT.

Open to all IChemE members and also to non-members. Please feel free to share with friends and colleagues.

Please bring along your own snacks and drink of choice, for a social evening of trivia and fun.
