Brandon Joseph holds a BSc. in Chemical & Process Engineering and an MSc. In Chemical & Process Engineering with Management from the University of the West Indies. He started his professional career over 15 years ago in the Process Optimization Team at Atlantic LNG Company of Trinidad & Tobago where he worked on process optimization projects involving the various trains. Following this, Brandon moved to the Process Engineering Team where he worked on the process design aspects of engineering projects, facilitated process risk assessments, and worked on various projects including the implementation of Safe Operating Limits (SOL) at Atlantic. In Brandon’s latter years, he progressed to the Process Safety Team where he is actively involved in the management of change process (MoC), risk assessments and pre-start up safety reviews (PSSR) for engineering projects and plant operational activities. Brandon is currently the Chair of the Chemical Division of the Association of Professional Engineers of Trinidad and Tobago (APETT) and is the APETT representative on the IChemE TTMG Steering Committee. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to podcasts while taking care of his house plants
