Overview

We will start the session with a review of the subject, applicability, and scope of the security directive; followed by an examination of the required actions and specific considerations for owners and operators, including timelines and major deliverables. We will then proceed with an analysis of the cybersecurity measures specified in conjunction with possible technical and procedural considerations for the implementation of them. We will conclude with a review of the schedule of requirements and important considerations for owners and operator regarding data collection, data protection, and data retention.

Speaker

Camilo Gomez, Global Cybersecurity Strategist, Yokogawa

Camilo is Global Cybersecurity Strategist at Yokogawa, with over 30 years of experience in OT/IT cybersecurity and risk management delivering strategic thinking within Yokogawa and the automation industry. He is experienced in leading global OT/IT cybersecurity programs in support of industrial systems and critical business with broad exposure in O&G, industrial automation, managed services, and business OT/IT consulting.

Camilo currently serves as Co-Chair of the Security Subcommittee of the OPAF forum developing the O-PAS standard, and Co-Chair of ISA99 WG12 performance metrics working group of the committee developing the ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity standard. In addition, he is board member of ISASecure cybersecurity certification, and senior level member of IEC TC65 WG10 standards and IECEE CMC WG31 conformance organisations.
