Overview

Please join the US Gulf Coast Members Group for their AGM.  The technical portion of the evening will consist of a presentation from Phil Redding on Shell's LNG outlook. This will be followed by a talk from Tom White, the newly elected International VP, about changes at the IChemE following the recent EGM. In addition he will cover the new Congress in which Gulf Coast Committee member Chris McDermott will be representing the US. After the event, participants will have the opportunity to network and socialise at Lucky's pub nearby.

As LNG Technology Manager and LNG Subject Matter Expert at Shell Oil and Gas, Phil Redding has over thirty-five years of extensive experience in design, engineering and operation of liquefied natural gas (LNG) import and export terminals. In 2016, BG Group was acquired by Royal Dutch Shell plc. Prior to this, Mr Redding worked for BG Group where he played a pivotal role in BG’s growth in the international LNG business over the last 20 years. He advised on and supported the development of LNG strategy, including leading technical due diligence activities on many LNG prospects and supporting LNG-led country entries around the world. He has led the introduction of several novel technologies into the LNG industry, authored and co-authored numerous publications on LNG and represented BG on international committees such as GIIGNL (International Group of Liquefied Natural Gas Importers) and IGU LNG working groups.
