Overview

Transport sector contributes a significant portion of greenhouse gas emissions globally. This sector is set to grow in view of the growing population and economy. In view of the urgency of reducing emissions to meet the carbon neutrality target, this webinar aims to explore the decarbonization efforts and trends in the transportation sector, covering road, marine and aviation transportations from a global perspective. The latest and emerging low carbon technologies for transportation sector will be discussed, supported by examples of trials conducted by industries. Further, the policies implemented by the local authorities in China in support of the low carbon transport development will be explored, and case studies from low carbon city in China will be highlighted and discussed.

This webinar provides an overview of the technology related to low carbon transport, such as alternative fuel, EV, fuel cells etc. This talk is suitable to groups interested in renewable energy, fuel chemists, graduate students and professionals who aim to broaden their view on the latest progress in the transportation sector.
