Overview

The management and control of odour emissions from process industries has become highly regulated under the Environmental Permitting regime. This webinar will, firstly, review the legislative approach to control of odours, looking at amenity, annoyance and nuisance, and will then move on to consider how these fits in with the Environmental Permitting procedures. Relevant technical guidance and best practice are discussed in the context of using appropriate technology to achieve Permit compliance and this is then illustrated with a series of real-world case studies.

This webinar is aimed at environmental compliance professionals in the process industries, together with plant managers/directors. It will also be of interest to students and the more junior staff in regulatory authorities. It aims to provide a succinct summary of the management and control of odours on a practical and day-to-day basis.
