  • Date To 12th November 2019
  • Price From £25
  • Location Chicheley Hall and BHR, Bedfordshire UK

Overview

A one-day conference on water industry mixing covering: Water treatment mixing (including ozonation, coagulation, flocculation and chlorination), Risks and benefits of mixing in the network (including THM removal), and Wastewater treatment mixing (including P removal). We'll also be touring BHR's labs, and enjoying refreshments and a networking lunch together.

Time

09:30—16:30

Venue

We'll be kicking off the programme at the Royal Society's beautiful Chicheley Hall, a grade I listed country house tucked away in 80 acres of beautiful grounds, managed by the luxury hotel chain De Vere. You can book a room for the night before and join us for breakfast (accommodation and breakfast are not included in the conference fees).

From there we'll travel independently, approximately 10 minutes, to BHR Groups labs on the nearby Cranfield campus, to see what water mixing experiments they have in their impressive fluid engineering labs. For safety reasons the numbers that can tour the labs are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so book early to avoid disappointment. Please indicate if you do not wish to take part in the lab tour so your space can be allocated to others.
