Overview

Wherever you look, change is happening: in politics, in business and in the way we all live and work. In recent years, virtually every industrial sector around the world has been experiencing rapid and sometimes devastating change. Technology and new ways of working have transformed industries and business.

Similar change is inevitable across the energy sector. Technology, innovation and the transition to a lower carbon future will re-shape the energy industry over the next few decades. Against this backdrop, Professor Paul de Leeuw from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen (UK) will talk about the changing industry dynamics, the future of work and what this will mean for the energy professionals of the future.
