Speaker

Peter Kauders, CDE

Peter read natural sciences and chemical engineering at Cambridge and worked in the UK chemical industry for five years before embarking on a career in engineering and construction. He has worked for Stone & Webster, Matthew Hall, McDermott and Bechtel, where he was Chief Process Engineer leading work on gas processing projects in the Middle East, Russia and Kazakhstan. In 2012, he founded an R&D company, CDE Consultants Limited, with the aim of developing Conceptual Design Emulation, a program which uses mathematics and logic to mimic the steps taken by an engineering team in process plant design. An article about CDE was published in The Chemical Engineer in 2014.
